Description:
The project to improve knowledge related to flood hazard and emergence of a flood prevention plan is led by the Brivet Watershed Union. It aims to improve the union’s knowledge of the operation of the basin, prevent flooding and reduce the vulnerability of populations by informing them and raising awareness about the risk of floods. The union is the competent community for water and aquatic management across the Brivet watershed. It has been designated “referring structure” by the SAGE Estuaire de la Loire and leader by the Regional Council. The ERDF will co-finance two studies (on the hydrological operation of the Brivet watershed and carrying out communication materials, as well as animation on the Water Regulation), the post of staff member on mission, as well as material investments and small equipment.
